The perfect way to finish your walk, with a cuppa and slice of cake at Broomhill Woodland Tearoom
Tucked between Antony Woodland Garden and the Woodland Walks is a quaint little stone cottage beneath a steep slate roof. With its gothic arches and latticed windows, its entirely evocative of fairies, pixies and all manner of things that would ordinarily belong in the pages of Grimms Fairy Tales.
Sympathetically restored in 2018, the cottage is now the home of our tearoom. Operating across two floors and a pretty little tea-garden, Broomhill Cottage offers a lovely selection of sandwiches and scones. Come and enjoy lunch or afternoon tea, buy an ice-cream or perhaps some fudge to take home. Because we source ingredients locally wherever possible, we are proud to be doing our bit for the local economy.
If you are planning a little celebration or just a get together for no particular reason, who doesn’t enjoy a traditional afternoon tea? Because we can, we’ll spoil you with a selection of finger sandwiches (crusts off of course), miniature cakes and homemade scones, jam and cream. Wash the lot down with a perfect cup of tea or if you prefer a steaming cup of Cornish coffee.
10.30am to 4pm.
Closed Monday and Friday (except bank holidays).
Please telephone 01752 876007 if you have any questions about the tearoom, or wish to make a reservation.
